Penny McIntosh

Penny McIntosh is a self-published author, a stay at home wife to a supportive husband, and Mamma to three free spirited elves. She lives in the woods with her family and a plethora of animals.

When she’s not writing, or taking care of her family, she’s reading - often into the wee hours of the morning. Penny is an avid reader and loves learning new languages and about different cultures and myths. She is a follower of Christ and strives to live the life God wants her to live.

She published five contemporary novels. Though she enjoyed the time spent writing those novels, and appreciates all she learned during the process, she has decided to take a break from contemporary novels.

She has one fantasy series out, Twisted Fate, that is nearly complete. The Hidden Selkie and the Kelpie Prince (the fourth book in the five book series) will be out late 2025.

She is also writing several serial stories that can be found on Inkitt.

All of Penny’s books are intended for adult readers. They contain intimate scenes, (passionate kissing to steamy descriptions that focus on emotion, and pillow talk), mild to in world swearing, difficult topics (abuse both physical and emotional, eating disorders, depression), and some mild violence. She strives to keep the books descriptive without being graphic or explicit.
